Assembly
Patio Covers come with labelled parts, pre-punched holes, and rolled safety edges to ensure fast and easy assembly.
Patio Covers come in a secure flatpack with optional extras such as Skylight Roof Sheets to bring light and style to your new space. Included in the pack are beams, rafters, braces, posts, screws, brackets, steel sheets, downpipes, and all the necessary pieces to DIY the Absco Patio Cover.
The frame must be secured to a concrete slab with supplied brackets and dynabolts. Watch: how to lay a concrete slab.
Allow 1-4 days to build this patio, 4 people are required. We recommend downloading the Absco Sheds Assembly App to watch the assembly videos prior to installing.
Absco recommends using trestles and timber to keep your product off the ground to avoid any damage while installing. It also helps working at waist height to avoid bending over.
What is included in the box?
Each DIY patio comes with all components required to build along with a fittings pack that includes all screws, joiners and pop rivets. Each shed comes flat packed for cheaper shipping and easier handling. The patios also come with downpipes and gutters as standard.
